The journey began at Gelling village in Arunachal Pradesh, where the river enters India from Tibet, and concluded at Hatsingimari, Assam, near the Bangladesh border.Journey began from Gelling village on the Siang River (Brahmaputra is called Siang in Arunachal Pradesh) known for its fierce Class 4 & 5 rapids.10 फेब्रुवारी पर्यंत गेलिंग इंडो चायना बॉर्डर ते फिनेश हॅटसिंगमारी - इंडो बांगलादेश बॉर्डर इतिहासात प्रथमच इतक्या लांब पल्ल्याच्या ब्रह्मपुत्राचे 1040 किमी अंतर यशस्वी पार पडले. भारतीय संघात 12 जणांचा समावेश होता, यात सैन्यदलातील 8 व सामान्य 4 नागरिकाचा समावेश होता.
